Musical Theatre Course 2024

A 10 week course to delve into the world of Musical Theatre!

We will be looking at acting through song, ensemble routines, varied musical theatre scripts and librettos, singing technique as well as visiting all dance styles. You will be guided all throughout by our wonderful director Lucy who has over 20 years of experience in West End musical theatre productions. (The course will conclude with a short performance in the final week.) This is a mixed abilities programme and open to all. Lucy has many years of teaching experience so is able to individually work you within your capabilities. So put on your dancing shoes and join us for this fantastic adventure into the world of Musical Theatre.

Specific subjects we will work on:

• Acting through song and character development.
• Audition technique and repertiore advice
• Dance technique and routines in - Jazz, tap & contemporary
• Choral, duet, solo and harmony vocal work.
• Musical theatre and storytelling acting techniques.
