Expert Instructor (owner/director) – Lucy

With 18 years experience of singing in the West End, including being part of the original production of the RSC’s Matilda and singing on the cabaret circuit in venues such as Ronnie Scotts, Lucy has a wealth of knowledge and experience to relay to students of all ages and abilities including professionals.

Lucy teaches different singing styles such as Musical Theatre, Jazz, Classical, Pop and Rock. You can learn correct breathing technique, improve your range, work on your tone and discover new repertoire in a fun and engaging way.

tutor – Jessica

Jessica is delighted to be teaching with North West End, bringing a whole host of experience into the singing room. Lessons with Jess will focus on building repertoire, improving technique and honing performance skills. Jessica prides herself on working in a fun and relaxed manner, tailoring each session to the needs of the student.

Jessica has a unique point of view to offer, bringing both a career on Stage singing in Musicals and Theatre shows on a National and International level, and a body of work as an experienced and sought after Musical Director in the North West and beyond. 

Before moving to Merseyside, Jessica was the front woman and manager for a popular 1930s Jazz and Blues cabaret act, performing at top clubs and vintage events in London and the South East. She has also spent many years depping for a 1950s rock n Roll band and various Vintage trios working across the country. Now, here in the North West, Jessica is spending time as a Polk/Pop Singer Songwriter, having just recorded a debut Album for release in the Summer. 

Jess is excited to share all the many things learnt across a career as a Performer, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer Songwriter, MD and Teacher.

Tutor – Mathew Pritchard

Welcome to the team the incredibly talented – Mathew Pritchard.

Mathew trained at LIPA and has since worked extensively as a composer, musical director and teacher.

Mathew has taught in some of the best drama schools in the country including - GSA, East 15 Acting School, Rose Bruford and, most recently, The Brighton Academy.

As a composer he has worked in collaboration with Sir Tim Rice on a new version of the musical Blondel in London and the U.S.

As a musical director, Mathew has worked on productions of Chicago, Maggie May, Trelawny, Aladdin, Larkrise, The Diary of Anne Frank, Carousel, Richard Stilgoe’s Bodywork, The Pierglass and Cats to name but a few.

Mathew has a vast knowledge of musical theatre and is a highly skilled pianist. He specialises in: individually tailored repertoire covering all styles and genres; presentation and acting through song; audition preparation for drama schools and professional productions.

Mathew is a calm, kind and inspiring teacher who will be able to find you your perfect song choices for whatever occasion you require.
